A man in Fenmore was recently arrested
for surreptitiously videotaping people who were renting
his cottage.
Jerry Tomster, 29, placed a tiny camera
into the bathroom ceiling of his rental cabin. The camera
was linked to a computer in an adjacent cabin that he owned.
Tomsters secret camera was discovered
by Donna Bacardi, who noticed it on the ceiling while relaxing
in the bathtub. The police were called immediately. They
later found 60 hours worth of edited videotapes in Tomsters
home. These tapes recorded numerous guests in their most
private moments.
Its shocking that something like this would
happen in Fenmore, said Fenmore Police Chief Bryan
Reiger. Maybe these things go on all the time in Paradise
Falls, but this is Fenmore!
Tomster faces either a hefty fine
or a prison term. PFC
