Roxy Hunter Found. Is Now Safe.

By Norman E. Wood

Missing Paradise Falls teen Roxy Hunter has been rescued. She was abducted by a tourist known as David Silverman, and then held in a shack in the woods near cottage 37 on River Road.

Hunter was discovered by Orillia Police Detective Jeff Bradshaw and Sergeant Valerie Hunter during their investigation into her disappearance. Apart from a few cuts and bruises, and severe emotional trauma, Roxanne Hunter was found unharmed.

At the exact time that the police were moving in to question Silverman, he was in the process of abducting local waitress Pamela Harman. Harman managed to fight him off and alerted police. By the time police arrived on the scene, Silverman had fled.

Silverman’s current whereabouts is unknown. He is approximately thirty years old, six feet tall, with brown hair. He is probably using an alias and is considered by police to be extremely dangerous. PFC
