Graveyard Gone Bananas

By Woodrow von Hammer

While paying respects to her dearly departed husband, the widow Morrison was shocked to find a crude wooden cross draped with rotten bananas defacing the plot of her deceased friend Maria Finfurs.

Sergeant Valerie Hunter of the Paradise Falls Municipal Police force reportedly investigated the scene within hours of its report. Sgt. Hunter was unavailable for comment, but according to Mrs. Morrison, the culprit behind the hanging of the offending bananas is probably some wayward juvenile. “Officer Hunter mentioned someone named Blair Witch. A tourist, I’ll bet.”

“It’s these horrible horror movies,” said Mrs. Morrison. “They make teenagers like this Blair girl into devils! Gives them the evil eye, I’ve been told.”

No details regarding the whereabouts of Ms. B. Witch, American tourist, could be discovered. PFC
