Boy Found Dead, Buried For 30 Years

By Norman E. Wood

Another grave desecration in the Paradise Falls cemetery has unearthed more than a grave, it’s uncovered a mystery.

The skeleton of an 8-year-old boy was found resting atop the coffin of the grave of Matthew Gumm. Mr. Gumm was buried over 30 years ago. A forensic examination revealed that the boy’s neck was broken, adding yet another murder investigation onto the plate of local police.

Coincidentally, Matthew Gumm is the grandfather of visiting Hollywood actress Rusty Sinclair, currently residing in Paradise Falls while shooting a film with husband-director Brick Madison.

Paradise Falls police records show no accounts of missing children from 30 years ago. That said, the police are asking all residents from the time to come forward with any information that may help in solving the mystery. PFC
