A local teen, whose name cannot be released
due to the Young Offenders Act, was caught with over
two grams of medicinal-grade marijuana rolled into a cannabis
cigarette or joint.
Despite his claims the young man has
no history of glaucoma, cancer, HIV, epilepsy, or any other
condition for which the otherwise illegal substance can
be medically prescribed.

He was found lurking by the docks with
his drugs and immediately arrested for possession of an
illegal substance by rookie constable Duane Hoover. Hoover
joined the Paradise Falls Municipal Police earlier that
day, fresh from the Academy last week.
The confiscated drugs have a street value
of well over $20 CAN.
Although this is the second report
of illegal drugs in Paradise Falls this year, local authorities
deny allegations that the area has become a den of chemical
abuse. PFC
