I'm just a simple guy who happens to have a great big office. But that office is your office. It’s where all the big decisions in Paradise Falls are made. So come on in. I am having this message relayed to you via my grandson Nick. For the record, I am innocent. My actions were in self-defense and justified. Mansfield was deranged. That’s all I have to say about the matter. My lawyer will be preparing a public statement that will set the record straight.

I realize some people in town have taken it upon themselves to gossip. These people are not representative of my constituents. My constituents believe in their Mayor—they’ve shown this for over twenty years.

Nobody understands this better than my family. I would like to convey my gratitude to my grandson Nick, and particularly to my close friend Bea Sutton. I truly appreciate their generosity and support.
